BUFFALO, NY – Kaylee Valentic (N. Tonawanda, NY/N. Tonawanda) scored a hat trick and added two assists to lead the Buffalo State women's soccer team to a 8-0 victory over Pitt-Bradford in non-conference action on Wednesday evening on Coyer Field.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- Valentic's three goals were a career high, and her eight points were the most by a Bengal since the opening game of the 2022 season.
- Faye Panagopoulos (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore West) scored a pair of goals, and added an assist for the Bengals.
- Chloe Adams (Watertown, NY/Watertown) had a goal and an assist, while Eve DiCarlo (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) and Carm Mercurio (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) each netted a goal.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- DiCarlo got the Bengals on the board first in the 14th minute, cutting inside to deke a defender and finishing into the left side of the net with a left-footed shot.
- Buffalo State doubled its advantage less than ten minutes later, as a perfectly-executed give-and-go between Valentic and Elsa Graf (Pulaski, NY/Sandy Creek) led to Valentic's first goal.
- Valentic added to her goal tally after receiving a pass from Emma Hesseltine (Malone, NY/Franklin Academy) inside the penalty area, dribbling around the goalkeeper, and sending a low shot into the bottom left corner of the net.
- Just after halftime, Mercurio's shot deflected off a defender in front of goal for her first career goal.
- Panagopoulos got in on the action with a penalty kick goal into the bottom left of the net after a foul inside the penalty area.
- Adams poked the ball underneath the Pitt Bradford keep in the 76th minute to make it 6-0.
- Panagopoulos added her second of the game on a rebound off an initial shot by Valentic, then Valentic completed the scoring and her hat trick just 22 seconds later.

- Alyssa Anderson made 21 saves in goal for the Panthers.
