NEW PALTZ, NY – The Buffalo State women's basketball team dropped their SUNYAC matchup with the New Paltz Hawks this evening with an 85-45 final at the Hawk Center.

- Jadyn Jones (The Seneca Nation/Lake Shore) led the Bengals on offense with eight points.
- Four other Bengals registered six points in the effort.
- Emma Cohen (Utica, NY/TR Proctor) and Josie Fleming (Clarence, NY/Clarence) each had a team-high four rebounds.
- Cohen also had two steals on defense for the Bengals.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a quick 5-0 start, the Hawks grew their lead to 16 after the first quarter.
- New Paltz grew their lead to 21 at the half.
- The Hawks kept the offensive pressure going in the second and were able to keep the Bengals offense from crawling back into the action.
FOR THE FOES
- Jenny Walton led the Hawks with 17 points.
- Semaiah Williams chipped in seven points with a team-high 10 rebounds.
