BUFFALO, NY – Six different players scored a goal for the Bengals, as the Buffalo State women's hockey team defeated Hilbert 7-0 in non-conference action on Tuesday evening at the Ice Arena.

- Bethany Horvatits (Elma, NY/Cazenovia Chiefs) scored a pair of goals to lead Buffalo State.
- Rylee Garrow (Akwesasne, QC/St. Lawrence Steel), Amanda Mindzora (Parma, OH/Gilmour Academy), and Carys Ursell (Calgary, AB/Calgary Fire) each had two assists.
- Madi Digges (Madison, AL/St. Louis Blues AAA) scored and added an assist.
- Grace Zwolak (Stoney Creek, ON/Niagara Falls Rapids), Hannah Tingley (Stoneboro, PA/Washington Pride), Liz Flores (Colleyville, TX/Dallas Stars Elite), and Miya Silva (El Monte, CA/Anaheim Lady Ducks) scored once each.
- Jessica Auge (Laingsburg, MI/Honeybaked Detroit) and Amelia Lebrun (Plattsburgh, NY/Salem State) combined for the six-save shutout.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tingley got the scoring started for the Bengals 7:20 into the first period with a wrist shot from the slot.
- The Bengals outshot the Hawks 19-1 in the first period, maintaining the 1-0 advantage into the intermission.
- Flores deflected in a shot past the Hilbert goaltender three minutes into the second period to double the advantage.
- The Bengals then scored three goals in just over two minutes to lead 5-0 after two periods.
- Buffalo State tacked on three goals in the third period, including a pair of goals by Horvatits for the final 7-0 score.
FOR THE FOES
- Tia Card made 57 saves in goal for Hilbert.
