PLATTSBURGH, NY – The Buffalo State men's basketball team dropped their matchup with the Plattsburgh State Cardinals this afternoon with a 78-52 final at the Memorial Hall Gymnasium.

• Nigel Burch (Sicklerville, NJ/Timber Creek) led the Bengals with a double-double performance tallying 19 points and 11 rebounds.
• Maley McCurty (Syracuse, NY/Nottingham) chipped in five points and 10 rebounds.
• Burch also led the team with a pair of blocks and a pair of steals.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Plattsburgh opened the action with a narrow 17-14 lead at the start of the first half.
• The Cardinals dominated the rest of the half as they carried a 48-28 lead after the first half of action.
• In the second half, Plattsburgh opened their lead to a game-high 37 points.
• The Cardinals were able to cruise the final minutes to secure the win.

• Kevin Tabb scored 25 to lead the Cardinals.
• Three others scored double digits for Plattsburgh.
