ROCHESTER, NY – The Buffalo State men's hockey team dropped their non-conference matchup with the Nazareth Golden Flyers with a final score of 7-3 at the Tim Horton's Iceplex.

- Bizal along with five other Bengals picked up assists in the effort.
- Drew Doran (Orchard Park, NY/Utica University) made 24 saves in goal for Buffalo State.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Powell got the scoring started for the Bengals scoring on a power play opportunity for his team-leading fourth goal of the season.
- Tolan capitalized two minutes later to give the Bengals a 2-0 lead, giving him a goal in each of the last three games.
- Nazareth came out aggressive in the second period scoring five unanswered goals to take control in the action.
- After a Buffalo State penalty, Nazareth would begin the third with a power play opportunity and added another goal to their lead.
- Bizal gave the Bengals life late with a power play goal, but the Golden Flyers would add another goal on an empty net opportunity and cruise the final minutes for the win.
FOR THE FOES
- Seven different Golden Flyers scored in the win while Josh Dressler picked up a trio of assists.
- Lincoln Crosby made 23 saves in goal for Nazareth.
