ROCHESTER, NY – The Buffalo State indoor track and field teams opened their season tonight at the Nazareth Alumni Opener at the Golisano Training Center.

The Bengal Breakdown
- Makhia Laster (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry Charter) led the way for the Bengals as a double-winner in the 300-meter dash as well as the long jump.
- Xzavier Goodman (Buffalo, NY/Olmstead) also earned the win in the shot put with a mark of 14.17 meters. Goodman later placed fifth in the weight throw.
- Dom Cervellera (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) took second in the shot put while Bryan Honan (Cortland, NY/Cortland) took fifth.

The Bengals return to action in 2025 as they will travel to Brockport on January 17.
