BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State men's soccer team battled to a draw with the Grove City Wolverines, keeping their undefeated season hopes alive.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- Adam Webster (York, England/ Woldgate College) led the Bengals with three shots on goal and was rewarded with a goal finding the back of the net.
- Shae Wirt (Overland Park, KS/ St. Thomas Aquinas) kept the Bengals afloat in a back-and-forth game with solid goaltender play. Playing all 90 minutes, Wirt made seven saves for the day.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State answered the call early against solid competition from the Wolverines, as they netted a goal within the first five minutes of play.
- The Wolverines would provide a great deal of pressure against the Bengals defense, but great goaltending play kept the game in the Bengals favor, with Wirt making four of his seven saves within the first 45 minutes of play.
- The Wolverines would answer with a goal of their own in the 56th minute of play, and on a hot, humid day on Coyer Field, kept the Bengals off the scoreboard for the remainder of the game.
- The Bengals outshot the Wolverines, 19 to 13, but were outshot for 'shots on goal' nine to eight.
FOR THE FOES
- Noah Gray netted the equalizing goal for the Wolverines, his second of the season and led the team with total shots.
- Teddy Almeter made six saves in net for the Wolverines in 90 minutes.
