HAMBURG, NY – The Buffalo State women's soccer team earned a 2-0 victory over the Hilbert Hawks this afternoon on Hawk Field.

· Olivia Kilmer (Hammondsport, NY/Avoca) and Eve DiCarlo (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) both notched one goal each for the Bengals.
· Elle Bush (Middleboro, MA/Middleboro) led the way for the Bengals with the lone assist of the day, and Taylor Clisson (Syracuse, NY/Solvay) needed to make just one save in goal.
HOW IT HAPPENED
· Buffalo State dominated play early, with an early goal within the first 10 minutes of play.
· The Bengals stayed consistent in their charge, leading to 16 total shots in the first half of play and adding six corners. They would out-shoot the Hawks 16-2 in the first half.
· The Bengals kept their foot on the gas throughout the second half of play, with a late goal in the 78th minute to seal their 2nd victory of the year.
· The Bengals outshot the Hawks 13-2 in the second half, and making the final game total shots 29-4 in the Bengals favor.
· Kilmer's goal was the first of her collegiate career while DiCarlo netted her first of the season

· Gabrielle Calandra led the Hawks with their lone shot on goal for the day.
· Keira McFarland made eight saves in goal in the effort.
