 HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Red Dragons got the scoring started with a pair of goals in the opening period, including one on a power play opportunity.
• Both sides remained in a stalemate in the second period despite the Bengals getting multiple opportunities to get on the scoreboard.
• Buffalo State kept the offensive pressure going in the third but could not find the back of the net as Cortland added an empty net goal to seal the win.
