BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Buffalo State women's soccer team fell at home, 1-0, to the Plattsburgh State Cardinals in their final SUNYAC regular-season matchup.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Celebrating Senior Day, the Buffalo State Bengals looked to close out their SUNYAC season with a win over the Plattsburgh State Cardinals.
- The first half featured a competitive back-and-forth battle, with much of the play contained in the midfield. Both defensive units held strong, limiting offensive chances on either side. As the halftime whistle sounded, the teams entered the locker rooms locked in a scoreless tie.
- In the second half, the Cardinals capitalized on a Bengals miscue, scoring in the 47th minute to take the lead. The Bengals ramped up the offensive pressure in search of the equalizer, but the Cardinals' backline stood tall. Despite the Bengals' late push, the Cardinals held firm to secure the road victory on Senior Day.

- Desiree DuBois claimed the shutout win in net, making five saves.
