BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State football team fell short in their matchup with the Union Garnet Chargers this evening for Homecoming with a 28-6 final on Coyer Field.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- Amir Cameron (Brooklyn, NY/James Madison) was 17-22 for 259 yards and a touchdown.
- Jeadi Higdon (Syracuse, NY/Corcoran) had 30 rushing yards while Noah Kimble (Depew, NY/Lancaster) led the receiving room with five catches for 98 yards and a touchdown.
- Sincere Green (Jamestown, NY/Jamestown) picked up 16 tackles including three for loss with Xzaivion Betts (Brooklyn, NY/Abraham Lincoln) snagged his first career interception.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Union got the scoring started early in the first quarter with a rushing touchdown. The Garnet Chargers added another rushing touchdown in the second quarter and held the Bengals quiet to carry a 14-0 lead into halftime.
- Buffalo State came out of the break firing as Cameron found Kimble for a 53-yard score to get the Bengals on the board.
- The Garnet Chargers added a pair of touchdowns by the end of the third quarter to take a 28-6 lead. Union then ran out the clock in the fourth quarter and sacked Cameron on the final play to seal the win.
- Union totaled 372 yards of offense while the Bengals put up 311 yards.
FOR THE FOES
- Patch Flanagan accounted for over 250 yards of offense for Union as he threw for 131 yards with a touchdown and ran 120 yards with two touchdowns.
- Gil Rivera had six catches for 64 yards and a touchdown while the Union defense tallied four sacks.
