CANTON, N.Y. – T The Buffalo State women's soccer team shut out the SUNY Canton Roos, 5-0, on the road to extend their winning streak to four games and remain undefeated to start SUNYAC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• After earning a dominant win over SUNY Morrisville, the Buffalo State Bengals looked to carry their momentum on the road against SUNY Canton. From the opening whistle, the Bengals controlled possession and were rewarded in the 23^rd minute with the game's first goal. Their pressure continued, leading to another strike in the 35^th minute, as the Bengals took a two-goal lead into halftime.
• The Bengals wasted no time after the break, extending their lead with a goal in the 53^rd minute. A complete team effort on both sides of the ball kept the Roos off the board, while the Bengals' attack continued to roll. Two more late goals in the 80^th and 89^th minutes sealed the dominant shutout victory for the Bengals.

FOR THE FOES

• Sam Scott was credited for the lone shot of the day for the Roos.
• Mackenzie Ryan played all 90 minutes for the Roos, making ten saves in net.
