HOW IT HAPPENED
- After falling to the SUNY Potsdam Bears the night before in their SUNYAC opener, the Bengals looked to regroup in their matchup with the Plattsburgh State Cardinals.
- The first half featured strong shot-making from both sides, particularly from beyond the arc. After a stretch of back-and-forth play midway through the half, the Bengals fell behind following a 7-0 Cardinals run that pushed the game to multiple possessions. A late surge from the Bengals trimmed the deficit from double digits to eight heading into halftime.
- In the second half, the momentum swung entirely toward the Cardinals. A quick 6-0 run extended the Bengals' deficit back to double digits, a margin that held throughout the remainder of the game. Cold shooting hindered the Bengals' comeback attempts, while the Cardinals capitalized to secure the double-digit win in this SUNYAC contest.
FOR THE FOES
