YOUNGSTOWN, OH – The Buffalo State indoor track and field teams competed at the Youngstown National Mid-Major Invitational this weekend at the Watson and Tressel Training Site.

The Bengal Breakdown
- Makhia Laster (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry Charter) led the women's side as she took home the win in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.65 seconds.
- Laster later went on to place sixth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.38 and fifth in the long jump with a leap of 5.56 meters.
- Natalia Sawyer (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) took home second in the 800-meter with a time of 2:19.43.
- In the throws, Paige Pavelski (East Amherst, NY/Clarence) finished fourth in the shot put and Bryanna Herring (Brockport, NY/Brockport) took third in the weight throw.
- On the men's side, Bryan Honan (Cortland, NY/Cortland) finished fifth in the weight throw with Xzavier Goodman (Buffalo, NY/Olmstead) finishing sixth.
