BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State men's hockey team earned a 4-3 win over the Fredonia Blue Devils tonight at the Ice Arena to close out the regular season.

- Tyler Penree (New Hartford, NY/Vermont Lumberjacks) also scored for the Bengals with four other Bengals picking up a point.
- Marcus Cumberworth (Surrey, BC/Olds Grizzlys) made 26 saves in goal in the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State jumped out to an early 1-0 lead as Kwestel scored on a power play opportunity.
- The Blue Devils tied the game early in the second period, however, Kwestel answered just ten seconds later to give Buffalo State the lead again.
- Fredonia would add another goal before the end of the period to make the score 2-2 entering the final 20 minutes of play.
- Penree broke the tie in the third with his second goal of the season.
- Shortly after, Kiriakov scored on another power play opportunity for the Bengals to make the game 4-2.
- The Blue Devils scored again to put pressure on the Bengals, however, the Buffalo State defense was able to hold strong to secure the win.
FOR THE FOES
- Antonie St. Onge tallied a goal and an assist.
- Charles-Anthony Barbeau made 25 saves in the effort.
