HOW IT HAPPENED
- After an overtime thriller in Plattsburgh that resulted in a loss, the Bengals looked to shake that one off as the entered SUNY Potsdam and pick up a morale boosting "W" over the Bears. Opening the first half, the Bengals started a bit-sluggish, which created chances for the Bears and put the Bengals behind early by double-digits. As play moved forward, the Bengals would get going after a 7-0 brought this matchup with five-points, midway in the first half. The continued grit from the Bengals finally brought the game with one possession but some sharp shooting from the Bears would see them hold onto their lead, with the Bengals trailing at halftime by six-points.
- As the second half, the Bengals looked to end out the season strong, but the Bears would make that option tough to come true. While the Bengals would bring the game with two-possessions, the Bears would continue their hot hand from behind the three-point arc and bring this game back to a double-digit lead in their favor. At the midway point of the half, the Bengals would bring the game back into two possessions, but a 12-0 run from the Bears would close the chapter in this book for the Bengals. Leading by double-digits and the clock in their favor, the Bears would cruise to finish line, with the Bengals dropping their final SUNYAC matchup of the season.
