  • Maley McCurty (Syracuse, NY/Nottingham) led the Bengals in rebounds with eight in tonight's game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Winners of two-straight games, the Bengals looked to improve that streak to three-games as they hosted the Oswego State Lakers. In the first half of play, the pace of this game was seen as both teams looked to run in transition and push each's team to exhaustion. Tied at 15-15, the Bengals would get back-to-back stops while making back-to-back shots, going up by six-points on the Lakers. Near the end of the first half, both teams looked to head into halftime with the lead, but it would be the Lakers who would prevail, getting a basket in the final minute of play and walked into halftime with a two-point lead over the Bengals.
  • In the second half, both teams came out more aggressive on the defensive end, unfortunately, it would be the Lakers who were able to score, extending their lead into double-digits. As play continued, the Lakers would jump up by 18-points on the Bengals, but a hungry Bengals team would claw their way back and bring this game within single digits. While a late push from the Bengals put the Lakers on their heels, the Lakers would hold…dropping the Bengals at home and ending their winning streak.
FOR THE FOES
  • Xavier Allen led the Lakers in scoring with 23-points, while also leading the Lakers in rebounds with six boards.
