ROCHESTER, NY – Natalia Sawyer (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) raced to a fifth place finish in the 400-meter dash at day two of the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Nazareth University at the Golisano Training Center.

The Bengal Breakdown

• Sawyer raced to a time of 56.40 to finish fifth overall.
• After taking second in her heat, Sawyer awaited the results of the final heat as she earned First Team All-America status in the event for a third straight indoor season.
• Sawyer now has earned All-America honors for the four times in her indoor career.
