ROCHESTER, NY – The Buffalo State outdoor track & field team had a strong showing this afternoon at the annual Rochester Spring Twilight hosted at Fauver Stadium.

The Bengal Breakdown
- Xzavier Goodman (Buffalo, NY/Olmstead) won the shot put with a mark of 14.91 meters. Dom Cervellera (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) took home fourth while Bryan Honan (Cortland, NY/Cortland) finished sixth.
- Makhia Laster (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry Charter) won the long jump with a leap of 5.91 meters; nearly breaking her own school record from a year ago. She later went on to win the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.14 seconds.
- Honan later finished second in the hammer throw while Goodman finished fifth. In addition, Cervellera and Goodman finished second and third in the discus.
- The team of D'Antonio Lawrence (New Windsor, NY/Cornwall), Logan Abate (Green Brook, NJ/Watchung Hill), Shiloh Cornel (Cambria Heights, NY/Cardozo), and Terrell Price (Depew, NY/Depew) finished second in the 4x100 relay. Abate later finished third in the individual 100 meter.
- Noah Holden (Clarence Center, NY/Clarence) raced to a fourth place finish in the men's 1500 meter.
- Jalil Coppedge (Bronx, NY/Ralph R. McKee) and Julius Arias (Lackawanna, NY/Lackawanna) finished second and third respectively in the 110 meter hurdles.
