ROCHESTER, NY – The Buffalo State outdoor track & field team finished the regular season this afternoon at the St. John Fisher Cardinal Classic at the Polisseni Track & Field Complex.

The Bengal Breakdown
- Bryan Honan (Cortland, NY/Cortland) paced the Bengals breaking his own school record from earlier this season in the hammer throw with a mark of 54.14 meters, good for third place overall.
- Makhia Laster (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry Charter) finished second in the long jump at 5.92 meters. Laster also finished second in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.24 seconds.
- Xzavier Goodman (Buffalo, NY/Olmstead) placed third in the shot put. Later, Goodman and Dom Cervellera (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) took home fifth and sixth, respectively in the discus throw.
- D'Antonio Lawrence (New Windsor, NY/Cornwall) had a strong showing in the men's long jump as he finished second with a mark of 6.90 meters. Mattia Case (Decatur, IL/MacArthur) was also impressive in the 3,000 steeplechase as he finished fifth with a time of 10:31.99.
- Nolan Lyon (North Tonawanda, NY/Niagara-Wheatfield) was fifth in the 110m hurdles while Zakhiya McQueen (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) was sixth in the women's race.
