Earlier today, Buffalo State Athletic Training and Sports Medicine hosted David Davidzik, who is a medic for the Department of Homeland Security.
 
Buffalo State Head Athletic Trainer Jeremiah Sorenson taught Davidzik basic prevention and treatment techniques for sports related injuries that they might encounter while they are deployed.
 
 
Davidzik also has ties to Buffalo State and Western New York. Davidzik was a standout football player at Lancaster High School, earning Second Team Lancaster Legends Varsity All Western New York following the 1995 season. The linebacker continued his football career at Buffalo State before graduating in 2000.
