- Oneonta chipped away at the Bengals before eventually taking the lead after an RBI single in the fifth.
- The Red Dragons built some cushion before the Bengals pounced for three runs in the sixth to cut the lead to just one.
- Oneonta held on as the Bengals were put away 1-2-3 in the seventh.
