RECORDS: Cortland: 22-14 (16-2 SUNYAC), Buffalo State: 22-17 (14-4 SUNYAC)
 
INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
  • Madison Lucas (Oakdale, PA/West Allegheny) and Natalie Burck (East Amherst, NY/Williamsville North) each had a pair of hits.
  • Izzy Pezdek (Lancaster, NY/Grand Island) got the start for the Bengals going four innings allowing three runs. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Cortland got the scoring started with a three-run double in the fourth inning to take control in the action.
  • Lucas and Pezdek each laced a pair of singles in the the top of the fifth to cut the Cortland lead to 3-2.
  • The Bengals threatened in the seventh after a pair of hits, but the Red Dragons were able to hold on for the win.
 
FOR THE FOES
  • McKenna Barry went the distance for Cortland allowing the two runs with three strikeouts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Buffalo State got the scoring started with three runs un the second inning.
  • Oneonta chipped away at the Bengals before eventually taking the lead after an RBI single in the fifth.
  • The Red Dragons built some cushion before the Bengals pounced for three runs in the sixth to cut the lead to just one.
  • Oneonta held on as the Bengals were put away 1-2-3 in the seventh.
 
FOR THE FOES
  • Emily Brown got the win on the mound going five innings with seven strikeouts.
