WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – The Buffalo State outdoor track and field team wrapped-up competition at day one of the AARTFC Regional Meet hosted by Williams College.

The Bengal Breakdown
- Makhia Laster (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry Charter) took the win in the long jump at 5.97 meters on her final jump, just .02 meters off her own school record.
- Laster also advanced to the finals of the 100m dash with a prelim run of 12.05 seconds.
- Gio Ventura (Geneva, NY/Geneva) raced the 10,000-meter run with a time of 33:22.20.
- Xzavier Goodman (Buffalo, NY/Olmstead) took home eighth in the discus throw while Dom Cervellera (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) was 10th.
- D'Antonio Lawrence (New Windsor, NY/Cornwall) competed in the long jump with a mark of 6.73 meters.
UP NEXT
The Bengals will compete tomorrow at day two of the regional meet looking to make one final push for a spot at NCAA Championships next weekend.
