Buffalo State will open the season on the road as they will travel to California for the annual Pacific Coast Classic. The Bengals will see the likes of Chapman and La Verne (Aug. 29) along with Cal Lutheran and Pomona-Pitzer (Aug. 30). The Bengals will then return to the Empire State for the William Smith Invite against the Herons, Hamilton, and Alfred University (Sep. 5-6). After their home opener against Houghton (Sept. 9), Roberts' squad will compete in the Rochester Invite with Geneseo, Wheaton, and Keuka (Sept. 12-13) before hosting their annual Bengal Challenge (Sept. 19-20). This year's tournament will feature Alfred State, Geneseo, Baldwin Wallace, Fredonia, Penn State Behrend, and St. John Fisher.

The Bengals will then head back on the road at Nazareth (Sept. 24) and at the John Carroll Tri-Match with the Blue Streaks and Ohio Wesleyan (Sept. 27). Buffalo State will the begin conference play with a rematch of last year's conference championship game at Cortland (Oct. 3) and a rematch of last year's conference semifinal game at Morrisville (Oct. 4). Roberts and the Bengals will then return to the Sports Arena for three straight SUNYAC contests hosting Fredonia (Oct. 8), Oswego (Oct. 17), and Canton (Oct. 18).

Buffalo State will then go back on the road at Plattsburgh (Oct. 24), at Potsdam (Oct. 25), and at Clarkson (Oct. 25) before the final home weekend of the season featuring Oneonta (Oct. 31) and New Paltz (Nov. 1). The Bengals will finish the regular season at the Rochester Tri-Match featuring the Yellowjackets and Union (Nov. 8).

The SUNYAC Tournament is set to run from November 10-15 with a first round, semifinal, and championship game format. Buffalo State finished as the runner-up a season ago after falling to Cortland in the SUNYAC Championship Game in three sets.
