BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State softball team, led by head coach
Jamie Brown, have announced their schedule for the upcoming 2026 season. The Bengals will look to reach the SUNYAC Tournament for a fourth straight season after earning the three seed a year ago.
The Bengals will open the season at THE Spring Games in Clermont, Florida from March 14-March 22.
Buffalo State will then return to New York with three road matchups at Brockport (March 30), Oneonta (April 3), and New Paltz (April 4). The Bengals home opener is set for April 7 against Nazareth.
After a non-conference battle with Hilbert (April 9), Brown's squad will host Fredonia (April 11) before heading to Penn State-Behrend (April 15). After hosting Canton (April 17) and Oswego (April 18), the Bengals will finish their non-conference schedule hosting Rochester on April 22.
Buffalo State will then finish the season with four straight SUNYAC contests at Cortland (April 24) and Morrisville (April 25) and home against Potsdam (May 1) and Plattsburgh (May 2).
The SUNYAC Tournament will take place from May 7-10. Last season, the Bengals fell to Oneonta in the semifinals before the Red Dragons fell to Cortland in the SUNYAC Championship.
