BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State football team dropped their home matchup with the RPI Engineers this afternoon with a final of 56-0 on Coyer Field.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- Otho Cox (Nyack, NY/Nyack) led the Buffalo State receiving room with seven catches with 55 yards.
- DJ Holmes Jr. (Buffalo, NY/Health Sciences) was impressive for the Buffalo State defense totaling 14 tackles with a forced fumble and a pass breakup.
- Andrew Williams Jr. (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) snagged an interception for the Bengals.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- RPI opened the scoring this afternoon with a touchdown on their opening drive.
- The Engineers added tree touchdowns in the second quater to carry a 28-0 lead into halftime.
- Coming out of the break, RPI was able to push across two more touchdowns in the third quarter. The Engineer offense was able to do the same in the fourth quarter before haulting the Bengals in the final minutes on defense to secure the win.
FOR THE FOES
- Kayden White rushed for 114 yards with a pair of scores.
- PJ Poknis had seven tackles; including 2.5 tackles for loss, a sack, and a forced fumble.
