  • Addy Williams (Grapevine, TX/Grapevine) closed out her senior campaign with a full-game start in net, making five saves for the Bengals.
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After taking down the #7 Alfred State Pioneers in the SUNYAC Championship first round, the Bengals returned to the road to face their "Battle by the Lake" foe, the #3 seed Fredonia Blue Devils, with a spot in the SUNYAC Championship semifinals on the line.
  • Both sides found excellent chances on net to open the first half, setting the tone for a high-paced matchup. As play moved along, the Bengals' chances inched closer before they finally broke the draw with a goal in the 36th minute. However, the Bengal lead wouldn't last long, as the Blue Devils responded in the 43rd minute, sending the two sides into halftime tied at one apiece.
  • Fredonia stormed out of the gates after the break, netting a goal in the 48th minute to take its first lead of the day. That left the Bengals chasing throughout the second half, eyeing an equalizer…but the Blue Devils held on, adding their third and final goal in the 84th minute as the Bengals fell on the road in the SUNYAC Championship second round.
FOR THE FOES
  • Three different Blue Devils found the back of the net.
  • Alyssa Hatch picked up the win in net, leading all players with six saves.
