- Brady Bowman (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) led the Bengals offense with 10 kills.
- Jackson Stang (Tonawanda, NY/Sweet Home) dished out 28 assists while Kieran Eagen (Buffalo, NY/West Seneca West) led the team with six digs.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bengals opened the first set with a swift 6-0 start. Buffalo State eventually scored five of the final six points to win the opening set following an attack error from the Highlanders.
- During the second set, Houghton went back-and-forth with the Bengals. With the set even at 22-22, the Bengals surged for three of the final four points featuring a pair of kills from Bowman.
- The final set of action continued the same trend. The Bengals scored each of the final four points and secured the sweep with a pair of attack errors from Houghton.
FOR THE FOES
- Jonah Sissel led Houghton with nine kills.Jerry Buno tallied 18 assists.
- Judah Kennel led all players tonight with 13 digs.
