DALLAS, PA – The #18 Buffalo State men's volleyball team earned a split at the Misericordia Tri-Meet this afternoon at the Anderson Sports-Health Center.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- Gavin Wilczewski (East Aurora, NY/East Aurora) and Kieran Eagen (Buffalo, NY/West Seneca West) led the Bengals with six kills each.
- Drew Bowman (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) dished out 18 assists with Jackson Stang (Tonawanda, NY/Sweet Home) leading the team with six digs.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cougars came out competitive in the opening set taking control early. Despite a late surge from the Bengals, Misericordia earned a pair of kills to close out the set win.
- Likewise in the second set, the Cougars took control of the action early. After taking a 5-4 lead, Misericordia never lost their lead the rest of the way to win the second set.
- A swift 7-3 start in the opening set was enough for the Cougars as they earned the sweep following a 7-2 run to close out the final set of action.
FOR THE FOES
- Chris U'Glay led Cougars with 10 kills and six digs.

- Kellen Palmer (Buffalo, NY/Canisius) led the Bengals with seven kills.
- Bowman added 25 assists while Wilczewski totaled eight digs.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Valiants took control early in the opening set, but the Bengals rallied back to score 10 of the final 14 points to win the set.
- Buffalo State found their rhythm in the second set. After a 10-10 tie, the Bengals took control and didn't look back to win the second set.
- The Bengals continued the momentum into the final set of action as they were able to secure the three-set sweep.
FOR THE FOES
- Kyle Simmons led the Valiants with 11 kills while Pedro Machado tallied 14 assists and seven digs.
