MORRISVILLE, NY – The Buffalo State women's hockey team came away with a 4-3 victory over the Morrisville Mustangs today in a SUNYAC battle at the IcePlex.

- Keegan Scott (Beamsville, ON/Niagara Falls Rapids) scored twice for the Bengals.
- Emma Ramseier (Oak Creek, WI/Milwaukee Jr. Admirals) and Dakota Carlson (Perrysburg, OH/Biggby) each scored and earned an assist.
- Alexa Todd (Owen Sound, ON/Saugeen Maitland Lightning) made 28 saves in goal in the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the Mustangs got the scoring started early in the first period, Scott and Carlson each scored within the final three minutes of the period to take the early 2-1 lead.
- In the second period, the Mustangs evened the score on a power play opportunity. Buffalo State added a pair of goals later in the period to take a 4-2 lead.
- An early goal in the third period wasn't enough for the Mustangs as the Bengals were able to hold on for a huge conference win.
FOR THE FOES
- Amelia Lomas scored for the Mustangs and earned an assist.
- Sydney Canham made 22 saves in goal in the effort.
