HOW IT HAPPENED
- Entering their season finale, the Bengals looked to pick up one more win for the season as they battled the Oswego State Lakers.
- In the first half, the Bengals would fall behind following a 7-0 run from the Lakers to begin this SUNYAC bout. As play continued, the Bengals would find their form, answering back with some hot shooting from behind the three-point line. A tick-for-tack half continued through the first half buzzer, as the Bengals eight three-pointers in the half helped keep them even with the Lakers, as both teams walked into halftime tied.
- In the second half, the Bengals looked to keep their hot shooting going, but the Lakers defense would tighten up, limiting the Bengals chances in the early portion of the half. Trailing by two possessions, the Bengals saw their deficit double to 10 points as the Lakers went on a 7-0 run to take control. As the Bengals attempted to get back into this one with a 5-0 run of their own, this deficit proved too much, and they fell on the road in their 2025-26 season finale.
