BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's hockey team earned a thrilling 4-2 victory over the Potsdam Bears today in a SUNYAC battle at the Ice Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a scoreless opening period of action, Potsdam got on the board first with a power-play goal less than two minutes into the second period.
- The Bengals responded late in the period as Madison Mallone (Wheatfield, NY/SUNY Canton) scored to even things at 1-1 entering the final period of action.
- Sydney Radecki (Lancaster, NY/Buffalo Regals) scored on a power-play five seconds into the third period. The Bears responded minutes later to make the score 2-2 entering the final stretch.
- With under two minutes to play, Ramseier found the back of the net to give Buffalo State the lead. Taylor Masterson (Niagara Falls, ON/Niagara Falls Rapids) later scored on an empty net opportunity to seal the win for the Bengals.
FOR THE FOES
- Alessia Marandola and Jaylnn Castro each scored for Potsdam.
- Magalie Parent made 32 saves in goal in the effort.
