ROCHESTER, NY – The Buffalo State men's soccer team fell short in a non-conference battle with the RIT Tigers tonight, 2-1, on the RIT Turf Field.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- Stephen Haven (Cheektowaga, NY/Cheektowaga) scored the lone goal for Buffalo State. Haven has now scored in three straight contests.
- Lesedi Sekhobo (Albany, NY/Shaker) picked up the assist for the Bengals.
- Adrian Contreras (Madrid, Spain/Hipatia Fuhem) made a trio of saves in the effort.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a penalty kick save from Contreras, the Tigers were able to secure the ball and score to take an early 1-0 lead.
- Haven was able to net the equalizer later in the half following a corner kick opportunity for the Bengals.
- Early into the second half, RIT was able to score again to take a 2-1 lead.
- Buffalo State was unable to find the back of the net the rest of the contest as the Tigers were able to hold on for the win. The Tigers held the advantage with six shots on goal compared to Buffalo State's four.
FOR THE FOES
- Gavin Culley and Constantine Santacrose each scored for the Tigers.
- Kristian Dobbek made three saves in the win.
