BROCKPORT, NY – The Buffalo State women's volleyball team fell in straight sets to the Brockport Golden Eagles tonight at the Jim and John Vlogianitis Gym.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- Ella Wittman (Cheektowaga, NY/Springville-Griffith) led the Bengals with 12 kills and nine digs.
- Alex Arroyo (Nesconset, NY/Smithtown East) dished out 14 assists in the effort.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a fast start from Brockport in the opening set, the Golden Eagles found themselves scoring six consecutive points to open an early 14-6 advantage.
- The Bengals closed the gap down to as small as two late in the set, however, the Golden Eagles scored three of the final four points overall to win the set.
- The second set was back-and-forth at the start. Eventually, Buffalo State went on a swift 5-0 run to take a 20-18 advantage. Brockport was able to bounce-back adn secure the set with a late push.
- Brockport had another fast start with a 7-2 opening in the third set. The Bengals responded with five straight points to even the score.
- With the score late in the set at 19-all, Brockport finished the win with a 6-3 run to sweep the Bengals.
FOR THE FOES
- Kaylee Dickerson-Holley led the Brockport offense with 12 kills while Kaitlyn Jewett posted 15 assists.
