Gene enters his 18th overall season with the Bengals and sixth since after a two-year hiatus while he was a member of the Buffalo Destroyers staff in the Arena Football League. He serves as the team’s offensive line coach. Zinni coached at the University at Buffalo for 11 years and spent 12 years coaching the offensive line at Sweet Home High School prior to that. In 1995, Zinni was inducted into the UB Football Hall of Fame. Gene resides in Royalton with his wife Marlene. They have three children, Laurene, Eugene and Michael.
