Former Bengal standout Richard Pete joined the Bengals coaching staff during the 2015 spring season. In four years, the running back played in 41 games, rushed for 3284 yards and had 68 receptions for 759 yards. He currently holds the Buffalo State record for highest average gain per attempt in a career with 5.9 yards. In his senior season he was named All-Empire 8 First Team, ECAC North All-Star Second Team, Empire 8 Sportsman of the Year and was the Buffalo State Male Athlete of the Year. The Utica native is currently finishing up his bachelor’s degree at Buffalo State.Â
