Buffalo State University Athletics

Former Bengal Sherman Nelson joined the Buffalo State staff prior to the 2015 season. Nelson closed out his four-year career with four touchdowns, 41 receptions for 544 yards, 29 tackles and four interceptions. He was named to the 2014 All-Empire 8 Second Team. The Buffalo native earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Buffalo State. He also currently works at the Boys and Girls Club of the Northtowns.
