Malik returns for his second stint on the Bengals' coaching staff in 2009-10, previously working with Buffalo State for the 2005-06 season. A former standout basketball and football player at Turner Carroll High School, he earned All-State honors in both sports. Following graduation, he continued his athletic career playing both sports at Division I Syracuse University. Campbell has also coached with the AAU Donyell Marshall All-Stars with the Upstate Basketball Developmental League, and also served as the Director of the Summer Basketball League at the Kensington-Bailey Community Center. Campbell completed his bachelor's degree in social work at Syracuse in 2001. He has a daughter Alexis and currently lives in Buffalo.
