Jordan Rodriguez

Jordan Rodriguez has been with the Buffalo State Cross Country and Track & Field coaching staff since the 2022-23 season.
 
Rodriguez comes to Buffalo State from Division II Cal State, East Bay, where he served as part of the coaching staff from September 2021 to January 2023. Rodriguez was promoted to Acting Head Coach of the cross-country and track and field teams in July 2022, serving as the lone member of the staff.
 
In the 2022 season, Rodriguez guided the Cal State, East Bay women's cross-country team to a ranking of as high as 29th-nationally, as well as a third-place finish in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championships.
 
This will be the second stint in the Western New York area for Rodriguez, who was also an assistant coach at Division I Niagara University from February 2021 to September 2021.
 
The Miami, FL native graduated with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from the University of South Florida in 2016, before beginning his coaching career as the head of the cross-country and track and field teams at Ida S. Baker High School in Cape Coral, FL.
 
Rodriguez also holds United States of America Track & Field (USATF) Level 2 Certifications in Jumps, Sprints/Hurdles/Relays, and Endurance.
