Bob Janosz joined Buffalo State's staff as the team's goalie coach for the 2018-19 season.  He brings a wealth of experience and is widely viewed as the premier goalie coach in Western New York as the owner of Janosz Goaltending since 2001.  

Janosz has worked as a developmental goalie coach for the Buffalo Sabres and Florida Panthers for 10 years in addition to serving as the head goalie coach of the Rochester Americans.  He has also worked as a USA Hockey Coach and Scout indentifying talent for the NTDP and Warren Strelow Goaltending Program for more than 10 years.

After a four-year playing career at NCAA Division I Canisius College, Janosz played professionally in the ECHL and UHL and was named the Muskegon Fury Rookie of the Year.  He completed his bachelor's and master's degrees from Canisius.

A native of Elma, N.Y., he and his wife Jenn have two sons Reece and Riley.
