James started as the Bengals' equipment in 2016-17. He degree in hospitality administration from Buffalo State in 2018 and is furthering his studies at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute.

James had an summer internship with the Indianapolis Colts in 2017.

He is the son of Jimmy and Angela and he has two sisters Kristin and Nicole.
