August Finn has been with the men's soccer program since the 2020 season following a stint in 2019 as an assistant coach with Geneseo. Finn is very familiar with Buffalo State, having played four seasons for the Bengals from 2015-18, earning All-SUNYAC honors as a junior and senior. A two-year team captain, the midfielder finished with 10 goals and 30 points in 71 career games.
Finn went on to play professionally in Australia with Geelong Rangers and also with the Rochester Lancers of the Major Arena Soccer League. He also had trials with the NY Cosmos.
A native of High Falls, N.Y., Finn has a U.S Soccer Grassroots Coach License and served as the director of coaching with Brighton FC. He completed his bachelor's degree in sociology from Buffalo State.
