Britton Mann has been with the track & field coaching staff as an assistant coach since the 2022-23 season. He primarily will work with the throwers.
A Clarence, NY native, Mann returns to coaching the sport in which he starred for four years at Division I High Point University in North Carolina.
While at High Point, Mann broke the season record in four events: the indoor and outdoor shot put, outdoor hammer throw, and weight throw. In his senior season, he finished fifth in the javelin, sixth in the shot put, and eight in both the discus and hammer throw at the Big South Championships.
Mann graduated from High Point in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Economics.
A two-sport athlete at Clarence High School, Mann holds school records in the indoor and outdoor shot put, placed fifth at the New York State meet as a senior, and was also a two-time All-Conference football player as a defensive end and tight end.
