Buffalo State University Athletics

Fuentes returns to Buffalo State to join the coaching staff in 2021 after having a very successful throwing career as a Bengal from 2010-2014. He still currently holds the shot put and discus records. During his senior season, Fuentes was the SUNYAC champion in discus and placed 19th at nationals.

He brings 13 years of coaching and throwing experience with him and was most recently the volunteer throws coach at Niagara University, and also served as a volunteer assistant coach at his high school alma mater, Avon Central School.
