Buffalo State Athletics is excited to announce the addition of a Western New York standout to its women's basketball staff. Angel Parker, a Niagara University graduate, will join
Blair Estarfaa and the staff for the 2024-2025 season.
A Western New York native and Cardinal O'Hara graduate, Parker had an impressive career with the Niagara Purple Eagles. She led the team to two WNIT appearances and set multiple single-season and career records. Parker scored over 1,400 points, averaging 12.1 points per game. She set the single season steals record with 116, the career steals record with 344, and played the most games in program history at 126.
Parker ranks fourth in career assists and is tied for the most steals in a single game with 11. She was named to the MAAC All-Conference First Team in 2021 and 2022 and the Second Team in 2020 and 2023.
Off the court, Parker earned a spot on the MAAC All-Academic Team in 2023 and became the first Niagara women's basketball player to receive Presidential Honors Society recognition.
