Jamie Overbeck

Jamie Overbeck joined the Bengals’ coaching staff in 2007-08, one year after completing her four-year playing career in the orange and black. She was promoted to first assistant coach for the 2011-12 season and will play a key role in player-coach communication as well as assisting with all other facets of the program.  Overbeck will also oversee all alumnae relations for the program, including coordinating "Maddy's Game" the annual women's hockey reunion game. 

Overbeck has additional previous coaching experience as an assistant with the Ken-Ton Girls High School hockey team during the inaugural season of girls' high school hockey in the Buffalo-area. 

As a player at Buffalo State, she served as a team captain and still ranks fifth on the school's all-time scoring list with 26 goals and 44 points. She also holds the school records for power play goals in a season and career and shorthanded goals in a career. Also a former player with the Buffalo Bisons Youth Hockey Organization, she is a native of Tonawanda, NY. Overbeck completed her bachelor’s degree in health and wellness with a minor in coaching in 2007.
