Eimile O'Brien

Buffalo State Volleyball alum Eimile O'Brien '19 joins the coaching staff as an assistant coach for the 2023 season.
 
O'Brien returns to Buffalo after spending the 2021-22 school year as a middle school teacher in the Marcellus Central School District. Eimile also organized athletic competitions, fitness and nutrition events, and nature outings as a counselor during the year following graduation.
 
A four-year member of the women's volleyball team from 2016 to 2019, O'Brien led the team with 57 blocks in 2017, and was the team's leader in kills in both 2018 and 2019, finishing with a career-best 232 kills in her senior year. For her career, O'Brien accumulated 689 kills, 68 service aces, 422 digs, and 155 total blocks across 113 matches. 
 
O'Brien graduated from Buffalo State in December 2019 with a degree in economics & finance, along with a minor in fine arts, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in art education from the university.
