Wells enters her second season as the primary assistant of the Buffalo State women's lacrosse team for the upcoming 2027 season.
 
Wells played 64 games for Buffalo State from 2022-2025 and stamped herself into the record books as one of the premier defenders in program history. Wells set the program marks for caused turnovers in a season with 45 as well as career caused turnovers with 131, and ground balls with 161. Wells also served as one of the team captains this past season. A Second Team All-SUNYAC selection in 2022, Wells graduated from Buffalo State following last season with a degree in biology.
