Buffalo State University Athletics

The Buffalo State women's basketball team, led by first year head coach Scott Foster, has announced the addition of Brooke Woodard to the coaching staff as an assistant coach for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
 
Woodard played three seasons at Geneseo from 2021-2024 where the Knights earned three straight 19 win seasons, two trip to the SUNYAC Semifinals, and a spot in the SUNYAC Championship in 2023-24.
 
A native of Eden, NY, Woodard was a three-time First Team All-ECIC at Eden High School where she broke the school record for most points scored for both men's and women's basketball. Following graduation from Geneseo, Woodard worked as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Nazareth University where she helped promote the Golden Flyers athletics teams as well as statistical work. She also has been working as a camp director and coach for Full Court Hoops Women's Basketball since 2016.
 
Woodard graduated from Geneseo in 2024 with a degree in communications.
