Oscar Muñoz Trinidad enters his third season as the lead assistant for the men's volleyball team in 2025-26.
A native of Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic, Muñoz Trinidad comes to the Bengals after posting a very successful three seasons at Elmira College as well as being a member of the national team in the Dominican Republic for three seasons.
Muñoz Trinidad complied 605 career kills with 414 assists and 60 service aces. In addition, he earned himself UVC Second Team All-Conference honors in 2022 as well as Empire 8 First Team All-Conference in both the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Following the 2022 season, Muñoz Trinidad was named the Elmira College Male Athlete of the Year and also earned Booster Club Player of the Year honors. After his final collegiate season in 2023, he earned the Elmira College Outstanding Career Achievement Award and the VanGorden Award for men's volleyball.
Muñoz Trinidad obtained his degree from Elmira in Human Services and is currently obtaining his masters at Buffalo State in Multidisciplinary Studies.
